This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage that has developed a nuanced nose of lemon and lime, apple blossom and elderflower. There’s also a touch of mallow sweetness and Chantilly cream. The palate is broader with lush peach stone fruit, baked apple compote, ripe cherry and nougat. The overall impression is bright and vibrant with a round, complete finish.

Chardonnay Guinevere Magnum

Limited Library Release.
Bright golden in colour, with a nose brimming with citrus and green orchard fruits. The palate shows more ripe fruit, highlighting nectarine, honey lemon and more tropical notes of pineapple, alongside toasted almonds, soft vanilla and nutmeg spice and lightly buttered toast, building in complexity as it ages. The wine is elegant and linear, with a pure mineral note on the finish.

The palate brims with honeyed citrus notes, ripe stone fruits and pear. There are delicate spice notes too, with hints of ginger and cardamom, alongside freshly baked pastry and toasted hazelnuts. This is intense and complex, with a lingering mineral note and a long, elegant finish.

Retasted by Laura Rhys MS, February 2025: Pale bronzed pink in the glass, with fine bubbles. The nose is delicate, with red fruits, orange peel and dried rose. The palate is still driven by pretty, red fruits, with raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry notes alongside baked ginger, toasted nuts and orange oil. The wine is elegant, yet still structured, with a long finish.

Pinot Noir
Limited Library Release
Growing and ripening the fickle Pinot grape at 51* north is no simple matter – but in benevolent vintages, we’re able to craft a small quantity of fine, complex and potential-laden wine. On the nose, the 2016 vintage shows morello cherry and raspberry, with red floral notes, alongside an earthy, meaty note. The palate is brimming with juicy red fruits and dark cherry, with chocolate and sweet spice notes. As the wine ages it’s retained its soft, round tannins, but has gained more complexity, bringing more gamey, smoky notes.

Pinot Noir
Limited Library Release
On the nose, the 2018 Pinot Noir is bold and fruit driven, full of ripe red fruits, cherry pie notes and sweet spice. On the palate the wine feels a little more intense and structured, with ripe dark cherry and forest berry fruits, alongside a mocha, spice note with chocolate, vanilla and clove. The tannins are elegant and structured and will allow this wine to age further in cellar. The underlying characters here are purity alongside a richness and depth of fruit.
