Gusbourne Oak Reserve 2019 is the boldest expression of English sparkling Chardonnay yet. A wine that embraces structure, spice and generosity, Oak Reserve was born from a series of experimental trials and the introduction of large-format oak vessels (foudres) into the winery.
“It’s not shy. It’s a wine with presence,” says Mary Bridges, Head Winemaker. “There’s tropical fruit generosity from the foudre – pineapple, mango – alongside savoury spice from the smaller barrels,” says Bridges. “There’s citrus oil and gingerbread on the nose, with a creamy palate and a very long finish.”
Innovation at Gusbourne doesn’t mean throwing out the rulebook. It’s about working with precision, understanding our fruit, and being willing to push the boundaries.

Lily Mixe Limited-edition Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs

Our debut artist’s limited-edition pairs a beautifully matured Blanc de Blancs with Lily Mixe’s intricate artwork, presented in just 500 hand-numbered gift boxes.
Created to mark Gusbourne’s 20th vintage, this exclusive release brings together a decade of patient cellaring and artist Lily Mixe’s distinctive vision. Each bottle carries her original artwork, Roots-Nest: a memorable gift for a fine-wine lover, or a bottle to open for a special celebration.
Born midway between our debut harvest and our twentieth, Blanc de Blancs 2016 captures a significant moment in Gusbourne’s story. Five years on lees and a further four and a half ageing under cork have brought a beautiful balance of freshness and maturity, with layered complexity, toasted nut notes and a delicate hint of white mushroom.
“It’s at a beautiful point in its development; incredibly poised, layered, subtle and complex,” says Laura Rhys, Master Sommelier.
Lily’s artwork takes its inspiration from Butness, our oldest vineyard. Experimenting with clay and sand gathered from its soil, she explored the hidden life sustaining our vines. Her delicate composition of roots, tendrils and young berries connects the wine to its landscape.
Limited to 500 bottles, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy a carefully cellared Gusbourne vintage in a presentation created especially for our anniversary.

Brut Reserve Late Disgorged

Gusbourne Brut Reserve 2017 Late Disgorged brings rich, toasty complexity to the generous fruit and bright freshness of our classic sparkling wine.
Almost eight years of ageing in our cellars before disgorgement have given this vintage depth and refinement.
Baked apple, charred lemon and ripe apricot mingle with nougat, toasted nuts and pastry on the nose. The palate is generous and rounded, with vibrant citrus and green apple, a touch of fresh ginger and layered flavours of apple pie and freshly baked bread. A mineral freshness carries through to a long, elegant finish.
Savour on its own or alongside salmon en croûte, roast chicken or a carefully chosen cheese selection.

Pale straw in colour, this elegant, precise wine has a nose of citrus, apple and peach notes. The palate is dominated by crunchy green apple, lemon and lime, with toasted almonds and brioche. The finish is beautiful, with salty minerality.

The nose shows beautiful summer fruits, hints of orchard fruits and some floral notes too. On the palate, the wine is generous and perfumed, with summer fruits alongside richer morello cherry and blueberry notes. The finish is long and refined.

Gusbourne Agrafe
Gold-medal winner, Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2025
The highly anticipated second edition in our Agrafe series, vintage 2020 is produced with an unusual, artisan method which requires painstaking winemaking: every element of the process, from bottling to disgorging, is done by hand.
Mary Bridges, Head Winemaker at Gusbourne comments: “Agrafe is a nod to tradition, but it’s also a step forward in our understanding of how English sparkling wines evolve. The technique might seem like a small change, but it delivers a wine that is uniquely expressive – a Chardonnay with depth, complexity and tension."

Twenty Thirteen
Brut Reserve Late Disgorged
This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage that has developed a nuanced nose of lemon and lime, apple blossom and elderflower. There’s also a touch of mallow sweetness and Chantilly cream. The palate is broader with lush peach stone fruit, baked apple compote, ripe cherry and nougat. The overall impression is bright and vibrant with a round, complete finish.
