TASTING NOTE:
Pale gold with a gentle yet persistent mousse, the Blanc de Blancs blends classic Chardonnay notes of zesty citrus fruit, green apple, preserved lemon and ripe pear on the nose. The wine is precise and direct, with mouthwatering mineral notes and elegance. White stone fruits appear on the palate alongside a vibrant acidity with soft, creamy texture. Despite more than eight years on lees and under cork, the fruit is still broad and picture perfect. Like an orchard on a late July morning. Tastes like summer dawn, when all the colours are brighter and every gulp of air is vivid and crisp and illuminating . 17.5/20, tasted 10 June 2024
