It's no secret that shellfish and Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs are a match made in heaven - which is why we can't wait to get stuck into Rye Bay Scallop Week at gorgeous boutique hotel, The George. A landmark in Rye, one of the UK's most picturesque towns, The George is well worth a visit at any time of year - but we especially love it for this seasonal celebration of one of our finest local products. There are four different scallop dishes to choose from: we think the Cataplana (with pork and clam) or the Roasted Scallop with herb and miso butter are spectacular with a glass of Blanc de Blancs 2019 alongside.

YOXMAN Festival
7-10th March 
Join three epic British Michelin-starred chefs - Simon Rogan, Dan Cox and Nathan Davies (who between them hold a dazzling 11 Michelin Stars) - for an early Spring weekend of dining, music and entertainment. This festival is the ultimate foodie escape in the British countryside: luxurious accommodation, country pursuits, masterclasses by world experts, fantastic food and - of course - plenty of Gusbourne.
